8th Annual 5K Run/Walk
Saturday, April 4, 2009, 8am
The route will meander around lakes Butler, Down, and Bessie. Over 1,000 runners and walkers are expected this year. And you are invited to run, walk, and enjoy all of the festivities.

Rotary Festival Among the Lakes
Saturday & Sunday, April 4 & 5, 2009, 10am-6pm. Camp Down.
Enjoy arts and crafts booths, live music, drawings, games,and... Register to win a 19' Regal boat or $10,000 in CASH !!!.

Easter Egg Hunt and Parade
Saturday, April 11, 2009, 10 am. Pocket Park on 5th Ave.
Sponsored by the Windermere Police Department. For children ages up to 9 years old. The Easter Bunny will be there, so bring your baskets and your cameras. Parade at 10am, with the Easter Egg Hunt to follow at Town Square.

Sidewalk Safety
It is THE LAW in Florida to yield for pedestrians in a marked crosswalk. This includes the crosswalks at Fifth and Main, Sixth and Main, and in the middle of the block at the flag pole. There is also a crosswalk on Sixth Ave by Johnson Park, and another at the end of the Isleworth wall. Watch your speed, and watch out for pedestrians and cyclists.
